Construction Industry's Election Fund, the AGC PAC, Contributes in Support of the Rogers Campaign, Noting His Strong Backing of Key Construction Issues
The Associated General Contractors of America's political action committee, AGC PAC, announced today that the committee has endorsed Mike Rogers for the U.S. Senate. AGC PAC officials said they are supporting his campaign because of his strong commitment to the construction industry in Michigan.
"Mike Rogers has a proven record of supporting policies that help small businesses grow, create jobs, and strengthen the economy. During his time in Congress, he supported pro-growth tax reforms, worked to rein in burdensome federal regulations, and backed policies that helped businesses invest, expand, and create jobs," said Jeffrey D. Shoaf, treasurer of AGC PAC. "As a former FBI agent, state legislator, and U.S. representative, Mike understands what it takes to get results and will bring experienced leadership and a strong commitment to Michigan's workers, businesses, and communities."
In addition to endorsing Rogers, AGC PAC has contributed the maximum amount of $10,000 to his campaign. The committee is also encouraging the association's members in Michigan to turn out the construction vote in support of his candidacy in the general election on Nov. 3, 2026.
"Mike understands the important role construction plays in Michigan's economy and the challenges our industry faces every day," said Damian P. Hill, president of the Associated General Contractors of Michigan. "During his time in Congress, he supported investments in Michigan's infrastructure and policies aimed at helping businesses grow and create jobs. Our state and industry need a leader who understands that a strong construction industry means more jobs, stronger communities, and a more competitive Michigan. Mike Rogers is that leader."
AGC of America is the association for the commercial construction industry, with nearly 300 member companies in its Michigan chapter, representing general and specialty contractors, service providers, and suppliers. This endorsement comes from AGC PAC, the national association's political action committee.
