Culture Evolution Strategy Defence Team consultation series

June 10, 2026 - Defence Stories

Estimated read time - 1:02

As part of the development of the second iteration of the Culture Evolution Strategy (CES), Defence Team members are invited to participate in one of a series of consultations to help guide culture in the Defence Team.

These 45-minute guided discussions will explore topics including workplace climate, professionalism, leadership, trust, inclusion, operational effectiveness, and practical recommendations for improvement across the Defence Team. The sessions are designed to help identify recurring themes, gaps between policy and lived experience, and effective practices that support a strong and healthy organizational culture.

Why participate?

The goal of these consultations is to better understand Defence Team members' day-to-day experiences and identify practical ways to strengthen trust, improve workplace culture, and support a ready, resilient, and relevant Defence Team. Participant input will help inform the ongoing development of CES 2.0 and support continuous improvement across the institution.

Sessions are voluntary, conducted virtually, and are offered in both official languages. Individual comments will not be linked to participants in any reports. Where possible, participants will be updated on key themes and how their input helped shaped the Culture Evolution Strategy.

How to participate

Participants can sign up for whichever session they are most comfortable with joining. Registration - Consultation Sessions for Culture Evolution Strategy (CES) 2.0.

For those who do not wish to participate in a live session, written contributions may also be provided through the registration link.
