Blog: Accenture Expands Enterprise Agentic AI Capabilities with AI Foundation and AI Factory

What's new?

  • Accenture is expanding its enterprise AI capabilities within AI Factory, bringing together NVIDIA's AI infrastructure and software OpenShell framework with Accenture's orchestration, agentic operations, governance and security capabilities to help organizations move from pilot to production.
  • AI Foundation combines NVIDIA AI infrastructure and software with Accenture's workflow orchestration, governance and industry intelligence, providing an open, governed foundation for enterprise agentic AI.
  • New capabilities include NVIDIA OpenShell for secure agent execution, Agentic Ops, the AI Factory Operations Intelligence Hub, emerging autonomous agents built on OpenClaw, and industry-specific Blueprints.

Why now?
Most enterprises have successfully run AI pilots. Yet according to Accenture's latest Pulse of Change only about a quarter of C-suite leaders report widespread, sustained business value from AI, down from 32% in January 2026.

Three obstacles show up consistently: AI tools that work in a sandbox but break down when connected to real enterprise systems; autonomous agents already running inside organizations with no governance, no audit trail, and no clear accountability; and a growing landscape of point solutions that increase operational complexity.

The challenge is to operationalize AI without outrunning governance. That's the problem Accenture AI Foundation and Accenture AI Factory intend to address.

A Secure Integrated AI Factory for Enterprise AI
Accenture AI Factory supports modern agentic workloads by introducing new capabilities to run AI in production, spanning infrastructure and agentic operations with integrated security.

  • AgenticOps based on NVIDIA OpenShell Reference Architecture delivers security capabilities spanning NVIDIA BlueField, NVIDIA Sentry and NVIDIA DOCA, bringing together agentic AI, infrastructure operations and security controls within a trusted environment designed to help organizations deploy and scale AI with confidence. NVIDIA Nemotron open-weights models leverage a polymorphic fleet of AI agents across compute, network, storage, power, token metrics, and other components to deliver AgenticOps at scale. The secure NVIDIA OpenShell runtime environment governs how agents execute, what resources they can access, which tool calls are permitted, and where inference reference is routed.
  • AI Factory Operations Intelligence Hub enables real-time insights by leveraging telemetry across the AI infrastructure stack. These integrations provide a systems-level view supporting modern inferencing and agentic workloads.

A governance-first platform for enterprise AI
Accenture AI Foundation brings together governance, orchestration, and intelligence to connect enterprise systems, physical operations, and AI infrastructure. Built on open architectures, it works with agents, models and frameworks from multiple sources, helping organizations avoid lock-in as the AI landscape evolves.

NVIDIA provides the underlying AI infrastructure and software reference architecture, while Accenture provides the intelligence and governance layer with industry-specific knowledge, domain context, and the orchestration controls intended to run AI responsibly at scale.

At the heart of Accenture AI Foundation are core capabilities powered by NVIDIA:

  1. Accenture AI Foundation combines Accenture's workflow orchestration with NVIDIA's autonomous agent capabilities with the additional controls required for enterprise adoption. Ex t ending this foundation, Accenture is advancing emerging autonomous agents built on OpenClaw running inside OpenShell, Accenture's implementation adds enterprise-grade capabilities including IT-signed agent bundles, deny-by-default sandboxes running on Accenture-managed Kubernetes infrastructure, and centralized audit and fleet operations.
  2. Accenture Industry Blueprints translate platform capabilities into ready-to-deploy solutions for regulated-industry use cases. They combine versioned industry knowledge with controls designed to promote appropriate governance, oversight, and organizational visibility.

Together, these capabilities provide the foundation needed to deploy autonomous agents at scale while maintaining governance, oversight and control.

Solving real problems across industries
Accenture has developed solutions built and run natively on AI Foundation, demonstrating how agentic AI can be applied to industry-specific use cases and cross-industry business workflows.

  • Financial Services: Governed customer onboarding and transaction monitoring, with regulatory sources identified, model versions tracked, and decisions logged to support audit readiness. For insurance, agentic claims workflows can route high-value cases within regulated timeframes, with each step logged from assignment to final decision.
  • Health and Life Sciences: Source-attributed outputs aligned with electronic health record requirements, with human review built into high-stakes decisions.
  • Government and Public Services / Sovereign AI: Fully air-gapped deployments with no connection to external cloud services, designed to help organizations address cybersecurity, data sovereignty, EU AI Act requirements where applicable, and broader regulatory and risk management needs.
  • Supply Chain & Operations: Early detection of disruption signals across supplier and logistics networks, with policy-governed automation to help manage response workflows across industries.

Turn AI ambition into action
Accenture can help organizations assess their AI, infrastructure and governance landscape, prioritize high-value workflows, and rapidly deploy an initial blueprint tailored to their business and technical requirements.

Connect with Accenture to explore how our collaboration with NVIDIA can help turn agentic AI ambition into governed, enterprise-scale impact.
