The Port Clinton High School Drama Club is presenting its student production of The Little Mermaid on Fri, March 27 and Sat, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. and Sun March 29 at 3:00 p.m. at the PCHS Performing Arts Center. Tickets will be on sale in the PCHS Main Office or at the box office prior to each performance, $10 each for adults; $8 for students.
The musical is based upon the story by Hans Christian Anderson and the Disney film originally produced by Disney Theatrical Productions. "In a kingdom far beneath the waves, the rebellious Ariel yearns to trade her tail for legs. After making a dangerous bargain with the Sea Witch Ursula to find her Prince on dry land, Ariel discovers that the journey to find herself requires more courage than she ever imagined. This stage adaptation of the Disney favorite features all the classic songs from the film, plus new numbers that dive deeper into the hearts of the characters."
The talented student cast includes: Ariel - Nora Pixler; Ursula - Olivia Althaus; Prince Eric - Cooper Sebastian - William Osborne; Flounder - Susannah Osborne; Scuttle - Tristan Minney; Flotsam - Vander Jadwisiak; Jestam - Ella Schwable; King Triton/Chef Louie - Gabriel Depner; Grimsby - Cody Karshuk; Student Director - Gabrielle Heilmann; Mersisters - Emma Rose Johnson, Brooke-Lynn Lattimore, Neyellie Fritz, Gabriella Woerner, Paige Bowens, Neveah Meads; Ensemble - Austyn Fox, Marissa Swanson, Delana Toris, Alisha Allen, Jenna Boykin, Alexia Ludzader, Maddison Calabrese, Keegan Lukac, Kenliegh Mazur, Jackson Howell, Shane Nystrom, Adrienne Wheeler, Juliet Toris, Kennedi Wainwright, Ashlyn Wierzba, Miles Taylor, April Osborne, Janelle Mitchell, and Penelope Sandvick.
