The award is a confirmation of the company's consistent efforts to create an open work environment that uses the potential of diverse teams.
Budimex received the first prize for the diversity policy project "Building on differences". The initiative was implemented as part of the Diversity Month and focused on strengthening the organisational culture based on mutual respect, openness and cooperation. The project is part of Budimex's broader approach to diversity management. The company develops activities supporting women in the construction industry, intergenerational cooperation and integration of employees representing different nationalities and cultures. The aim of these initiatives is to create an environment in which diverse employee experiences and perspectives strengthen teams and support the development of the entire organization.
- Diversity is valuable to us when employees can bring their own experience, mindset and perspective to the organization, and at the same time feel that their voice is heard. Our role is to create such conditions so that these differences are not a barrier, but help us to better cooperate and develop the company. We treat the award in the HR Dream Team competition as motivation to continue working and developing our projects - says Anna Karyś-Sosińska, Member of the Management Board of Budimex SA, Director of the Human Resources Management Division.
The award-winning project was created thanks to the cooperation of teams responsible for HR and employer branding and the involvement of Budimex employees. Diversity Month is one of the initiatives through which the company encourages employees to talk about differences, break stereotypes and better use the potential resulting from team diversity.
For years, Budimex has been developing solutions in the field of responsible HR policy, including, m.in the development of competences, transparent rules for promotion and remuneration, support for women in the construction industry and activities aimed at equal opportunities.
