The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) respectfully submits comments regarding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) draft sixth Contaminant Candidate List (CCL 6).1 ACWA supports EPA efforts to improve drinking water quality by identifying unregulated contaminants in CCL 6. ACWA urges EPA to evaluate contaminants that may warrant future regulatory consideration under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) utilizing the best available science and transparent, practical, and affordable implementation strategies.
