Lane and Sidewalk Closure - West 18th Street and South Grange Avenue

Beginning Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., the northbound lane of South Grange Avenue and the east sidewalk will be closed between West 21st Street and West 18th Street. The eastbound lane of West 18th Street will also be closed at South Grange Avenue. Eastbound and northbound traffic will be shifted into the center turn lane to maintain one lane of traffic in each direction. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the east along South Dakota Avenue.

Katzer Concrete will be making concrete repairs in this area.

The road work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on September 30th.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street and Sidewalk Closure - North Main Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. North Main Avenue will be closed between West Eighth Street and West Ninth Street. The west sidewalk will be closed along the same area. The outside eastbound lane of West Eighth Street will also be closed for a short distance at Main Avenue.

CustomEyez Signs will be performing sign work to the exterior of a building at the intersection of 8th Street and Main Ave.

The work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by 4:00 p.m. on the same day.

Lane and Sidewalk Closure - South Kiwanis Avenue

Beginning on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., the southbound lanes of South Grange Avenue, including the west sidewalk, will be closed between West 18th Street and West 22nd Street. Traffic will be shifted to the east side of the road, and one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the east side of Kiwanis Avenue through the work area.

Xcel Energy will be making utility upgrades in this area.

This portion of utility work is expected to last approximately six weeks, with additional phases to follow.

Street Closure - North D Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, North D Avenue will be closed to through traffic between West Blackhawk Street and West Cherokee Street.

BNSF will be making repairs to the rail crossing on D Avenue.

All work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of Friday, September 25, 2026.
