Asset Management Firm Signs Lease for Full-Floor in Prime Midtown Location

New York, NY (June 25, 2026) - The Durst Organization announced today that Commonfund, a leading independent asset management firm serving institutional investors, has signed a lease to relocate its New York City office from Park Avenue to the entire 22nd floor of 825 Third Avenue, encompassing 11,816 square feet.

825 Third Avenue underwent a recent $150 million renovation focused on performance, tenant comfort, modern aesthetics, and sustainability. The tenant-exclusive Well& by Durst amenity space sets a new standard with a uniquely curated indoor-outdoor experience for informal gatherings, meetings, and socializing. The building has a modern entrance and lobby, complemented by 4,000 square feet of public open space along Third Avenue and East 50th Street with plantings, seating, bike racks, and lighting.

825 Third Avenue's tenant roster includes Toyota Tsusho America Inc., Edward Jones, Allied Irish Banks, Tokio Marine Group, Dimension Energy, Beveridge & Diamond, Gotham Asset Management, National Bank of Egypt, Macerich, Hodes Weill & Associates, Slarskey LLC, and Stark Office Suites.

The Durst Organization was represented in house by Tom Bow, Ashlea Aaron, Bailey Caliban, and Sayo Kamara. David Rosenbloom and Steven Baker of Cushman & Wakefield represented Commonfund.
