One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Alpine County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following traffic controls on State Route 89 (SR-89) in Alpine County. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 89
- One-way traffic control from the SR-88/89 Picketts Junction to the Alpine/El Dorado County line for utility work on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
