Marion County Utilities has
lifted the precautionary boil water notice to customers within the
Hunters Trace and Pine Ridge Estates communities following the satisfactory completion of a bacteriological survey, showing that the water is safe to drink.
Though customers are being notified via emails, interactive community calls, media release, and/or social media, customers are urged to contact Utilities' customer service team at 352-307-6000 during regular business hours to verify their account phone number is accurate.
Notifying affected customers
Utilities uses customer account information to contact residents affected by maintenance or repair-related pressure drops and plant shutdowns. In addition to notifications being sent via email, the Utilities customer service team also activates an automated interactive calling system.
