Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Chen Chuandong Attends Launch of Agricultural Drones donated by Embassy

On June 4, Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Chen Chuandong attended the launch of agricultural drones donated by the Chinese Embassy in Qarnayel, and observed a demonstration of pesticide spraying flights. Lebanese Minister of Agriculture Dr.Nizar Hani, mayors and representatives from nearby municipalities and diplomatic missions were present.

In his remarks, Ambassador Chen said that the Chinese-made agricultural drones can help protect Lebanon's forests and promote sustainable development, embodying the concept of Harnessing "Technology for Good." He added that China is ready to take advantage of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries to further expand and deepen practical cooperation in the agricultural sector.

Minister Hani expressed his deep gratitude for China's support, stating that the project represents empowerment through technology and the ministry's commitment to digital transition and sustainable development of agriculture.
