Financial Fair in Osh

Within the framework of the Global Money Week 2026, on April 2, 2026, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic held a financial fair at the Osh State University in Osh. The event was attended by representatives of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, commercial banks, microfinance institutions, and other organizations.

During the financial fair, participants - teachers and students of the universities, young people, high school students, residents, and visitors to Osh - were provided with the presentations on relevant topics in financial literacy: the basics of financial literacy, the deposit protection system, ensuring financial security, and how to start a business; a practical mini-workshop on financial literacy was also conducted.

At the financial fair, commercial banks and financial institutions informed participants about basic banking services - such as opening bank accounts and obtaining payment cards from commercial banks - and provided consultations on any questions that arose.

In addition, interactive games, contests, and quizzes were held. Active participants in the fair, as well as the winners of the contests and quizzes, were awarded with special prizes.

More than 500 people took part in the financial fair.
