State Route 36/ Covington Street is scheduled to close at a railroad crossing, on March 11-14, 2026

Jackson, GA - State Route (SR) 36 in Jackson is scheduled to close at the railroad crossing on March 11-14, 2026. The Railroad company Norfolk Southern will be installing new rails. The state route affected is listed below along with the closure dates and duration of the closure. A suggested detour is provided.
