Nordic Growth acted as adviser in the transaction in which the entire share capital of Metalli ja Lvi Lundgren Oy was acquired by Cervi Group, an Intera Partners-backed consolidator of energy and building services solutions.
Metalli ja Lvi Lundgren Oy is a Finnish contractor specialising in industrial energy solutions. The roots of the Lundgren family business date back to the 1960s. The company's core expertise lies particularly in demanding industrial heat-pump plants, electric boiler plants and cooling systems.
"Staying at the forefront of the energy transition is part of Lundgren's DNA. Among other achievements, the company has delivered Finland's largest carbon dioxide heat-pump plant and what was, at the time of its completion, the world's largest carbon dioxide cooling plant. Lundgren wants to continue its pioneering work and as part of Cervi's larger platform, it will be even better positioned to do so going forward," says Saul Schubak, Project Director at Nordic Growth.
Cervi Group is a Finnish specialist in building climate technology, providing services in ventilation, cooling technology, energy solutions and technical insulation. The Intera-backed group comprises 30 companies and more than 600 professionals.
