2025 Year in Review

NorthCoast Mezzanine Welcomes Mitch Nelson to the Team

NorthCoast is pleased to announce that Mitch Nelson joined the firm in October 2025 as a Vice President to support the continued growth of the business.

Mitch is responsible for underwriting new investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio management.

Prior to joining NorthCoast, he worked at Apogem Capital (formerly Madison Capital Funding), a New York Life Investments Company, where he focused on underwriting and portfolio management of senior credit facilities for private equity-backed transactions. Previously, Mr. Nelson spent time at KPMG as an Associate focused on partnership taxation.

Mr. Nelson holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business. He is also a licensed CPA (inactive) in the state of Illinois.
