HDOT to conduct runway maintenance work at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport

HONOLULU - The Hawai'i Department of Transportation (HDOT) will close Runway 4R-22L at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for runway and taxiway paint refreshing as well as grass cutting.

During the closures, flights will use runway 8L-26R. Runway 8R-26L will also remain open.

HDOT has coordinated with airlines and other partners to minimize impacts to flights. All work is weather permitting.

HDOT appreciates the community's patience and understanding while the needed work is conducted to ensure safe operations at HNL.
