SUGAR CITY - The Idaho Transportation Department and contractor partners will begin repairs to U.S. Highway 20 north of Sugar City on Monday, August 17. Crews will work through the night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. between Exit 338 at Sugar City/ Salem and East 200 North.
Traffic will be reduced for two-mile stretches at a time where work is occurring. Crews will conduct crack repairs, joint improvements and repaving operations to create a smoother ride both north and southbound through this area.
All work will be paused through Labor Day weekend from September 5- 7. The project is expected to be complete by mid-September.
Updates detailing specific traffic impacts of this project and others across the state can always be found on the Idaho 511 app and at 511.idaho.gov.
