Stakeholder Notice: USDA Publishes FY 2026 Notice of Funding Opportunity for McGovern-Dole Program

Washington, D.C., May 8, 2026 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service is now accepting applications for the fiscal year 2026 McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program. This Notice of Funding Opportunity will use U.S. commodities to support education, child development and food security through school meals and maternal and child nutrition projects.

For FY 2026 McGovern-Dole, USDA anticipates awarding up to $240 million in new cooperative agreements for five-year projects ranging from $10 million to $35 million. Priority countries for McGovern-Dole include Bolivia, Cambodia, Ecuador, Guinea (Conakry), Honduras, Liberia and Timor-Leste.
