ARLINGTON, Va. | September 30, 2025 - The National Apartment Association (NAA) has announced Kin Oldham, longtime executive director of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas (AAGD), as the 2025 NAA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient in the association staff category. Awarded annually, this prestigious honor recognizes long-term exemplary national service and accomplishments to the association and industry. Oldham will be formally recognized at NAA's annual Assembly of Delegates, held in Atlanta in November.
"Kin's impact over his 30 years in the industry and more than 10 years leading AAGD has propelled rental housing forward in Dallas and nationwide", said NAA President and CEO Bob Pinnegar. "His leadership and dedication are an exemplary model of industry professionalism and continue to ensure that rental housing professionals work toward common goals. NAA is proud to honor Kin and looks forward to formally awarding him in Atlanta."
Oldham's career is defined by his ability to make a difference, amplifying the industry's voice and impact both nationally and locally. Oldham's leadership and advocacy helped defeat costly and harmful legislative bills such as the Dallas Inspection Program and the Dallas Eviction Ordinance. He recently led AAGD in its first solo Business Exchange that raised over $158,000 for NAAPAC.
A tireless volunteer, Oldham has served with NAA for nearly 20 years. His expertise benefited several committees - including legislative, budget and finance, affordable housing, global outreach and Apartmentalize - throughout his tenure. Beyond this, Oldham is a servant leader at heart and has focused on community service for AAGD, particularly supporting underserved residents. He emphasizes that housing professionals are also community builders, and that community service is crucial in transforming lives.
