Cabin Fever Debates, Jan. 27
The Seawolf Debate Program is proud to present the 18th annual Cabin Fever Debates, UAA's intramural debating tournament. Students register and compete as two-person teams to debate about current events in Alaska, the US and the world.
This event is designed for those not already on the Seawolf Debate Team, so no experience debating is required!
Preliminary competition will lead to selection of teams for the Final Round. All teams who win their debates will recieve a cash prize; the champion team wins $1000. There will be over $2,000 awared in prizes.
The competition will be held over a series of Tuesday evenings beginning Jan. 27, 2026. Entry into the tournament is free for UAA undergraduate and graduate students enrolled for at least six credits in the spring 2026 semester.
