Fresno, CA - In meeting the growing healthcare needs of the Central Valley, Saint Agnes has expanded its service to provide a full continuum of patient care. In alignment with this strategic growth, Saint Agnes is adopting a new ministry name: Saint Agnes Health.
Our history of providing compassionate care in the Central Valley began with the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1929 with the founding of Saint Agnes Hospital in downtown Fresno. After nearly a century of serving the Valley, Saint Agnes' healing ministry has become a comprehensive family of care.
With expanded facilities, added specialty services, more advanced technologies, a growing physician network, a health plan, a strengthened outpatient presence and outreach to underserved communities, we have increased the ways we reach people outside the walls of the hospital.
Each of these areas of service has its own important role in caring for patients, families and our communities, but together, they tell a larger story. Our ministry has grown far beyond just one hospital, and because of that growth, we need a name that better reflects who we are today.
Saint Agnes Health will serve as the overarching identity for our services and provides one clear way to describe the broader family of care we are building together for the health of the Valley.
