Three local physician groups have renewed multi-year contracts to support patient services across Asante facilities. This includes Vista Pathology, Radia and Southern Oregon Anesthesia. These agreements follow last month's announcement of a new multi-year extension with Southern Oregon Cardiology.
"We're thrilled to continue partnering with these long-serving physician groups. These collaborations allow us to have alignment on quality and safety, shared strategy, commitment to keeping health care close to home and long-term sustainability. Each of these organizations share the Asante Mission and continue to be instrumental in the future health care of southern Oregon," says Angie Simonson, Chief Operating Officer at Asante.
Vista Pathology will continue providing on-site pathology services across the entire organization.
"Vista Pathology is honored to extend our long-standing partnership with Asante. Asante's commitment to maintaining local pathology services strengthens the diagnostic and laboratory services that support patients and clinicians across our community. For decades, we've been providing accurate, timely and clinically meaningful answers that build trust and are critical to patient care. As a partner of Asante, we share a vision of providing high-quality, patient-centered medical diagnostics for physicians, providers, and patients of southern Oregon," shares Nichole Steidler, MD, Vista Pathology.
Southern Oregon Anesthesia has been a partner to Asante for many years and will continue providing anesthesia services across Asante at all facilities.
"At Southern Oregon Anesthesia, our 44 physicians, working alongside five certified registered nurse anesthetists, remain committed to delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia care while partnering closely with Asante's clinical and operational teams. This renewed alignment reinforces our shared mission to put patients first, support our caregivers and ensure the long-term stability of exceptional surgical and procedural care in southern Oregon. We look forward to building on this partnership for many years to come," says Brian Hall, MD, President.
Radia has renewed its commitment to Rogue Regional Medical Center, signing a new multi-year agreement to continue delivering radiology services.
"Our physicians are excited to continue our long-standing partnership with Asante, which began under Medford Radiology Group and moves forward into the future under Radia. It is a privilege to continue to serve our region with advanced interventional and stroke treatments, comprehensive breast cancer screening and diagnosis, and full range of subspecialty diagnostic radiology services. We appreciate Asante's support and look forward to what the future holds," says Seth Urban, MD, President, Radia.
The renewed collaborations reflect Asante's continued investment in strong physician partnerships, expanding access and supporting the region's evolving health care needs.
Asante is alocally owned and governed not-for-profit health system with 6,000 employees providing compassionate care to nearly 600,000 people in a nine-county area of southern Oregon and northern California.
