OAS Hosts Press Conference to Present the Joint Declaration of Member States in Support of Haiti

The Organization of American States (OAS) will host a press conference TOMORROW, Thursday, September 11, at 12:30 EDT (16:30 GMT), in the Hall of the Americas at the Organization's headquarters in Washington, DC, on the Joint Declaration: "Call for Coordinated UN Action in Support of the OAS Haiti Roadmap."

The speakers will be:

• The OAS Secretary General, Albert R. Ramdin;
• The Interim Representative of Haiti, Jean Josue Pierre;
• The Permanent Representative of Panama, Ana Irene Delgado, and
• The Deputy Assistant Secretary for Caribbean and Haitian Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, Barbara Feinstein

The conference will be interpreted in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
