WASTE PRO NAMES SOLID WASTE INDUSTRY VETERAN AS VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

LONGWOOD, FL - October 13, 2026 - Waste Pro, one of the nation's leading privately-owned waste management companies, has appointed Darrell Corbett as Vice President of Operations, bringing more than 35 years of international solid waste experience to the company's continued growth and operational expansion.

Darrell is a highly experienced senior executive, joining Waste Pro following 15 years with JJ's Waste & Recycling, Australia's largest privately held, family-run waste company. Most recently, he served as Vice President of North American Operations, where he led the company's entry into the U.S. market.

Since relocating to Florida in December 2017, Darrell has built JJ's U.S. business from the ground up, expanding to five operating locations and more than 130 employees across Florida and Texas.

In his new role at Waste Pro, Darrell will focus on improving operational efficiency, standardizing best practices, optimizing equipment utilization, and reinforcing the company's commitment to the Waste Pro Way.

Darrell's career spans three continents and includes leadership roles at JJ's Waste & Recycling in Australia and at Veolia in Australia and the United Kingdom. His expertise also extends to environmental and sustainability initiatives, including organics processing, waste oil refinement, water quality management systems, and sustainable equipment manufacturing.

After getting his start in the industry sweeping floors for Pacific Waste Management Australia, then a subsidiary of Waste Management, Darrell advanced through positions in operations, purchasing, sales, and compliance before moving into senior leadership. From 2016 to 2017, he served as president of the Waste and Recycling Industry Association in Australia's Northern Territory.

Darrell shared that he is joining Waste Pro because of the company's family-centered culture, commitment to its employees, and long-term growth vision. Having built JJ's presence in the American market, he brings firsthand experience navigating expansion while maintaining operational standards and customer service.
