ASEAN-Korea Centre Launches '2026 ASEAN Panorama' Rotating Exhibition in Seoul
- ASEAN Companies to Showcase Products in Five-Month Rotating Exhibition at Seoul ASEAN Hall, Korea Press Center, Starting May 7 -
- Thematic Exhibitions Spanning Food & Beverage, Halal, Fashion, and Creative Industries, Alongside B2B Cooperation Program -
The ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC, Secretary General Kim Jae-shin) held the opening ceremony for the "2026 ASEAN Panorama" on May 7 at the Seoul ASEAN Hall on the first floor of the Korea Press Center in Seoul. Running through September 30, the five-month rotating exhibition showcases outstanding products from ASEAN Member States.
Under the theme "Bigger, Bolder, Broader: The New ASEAN in Every Detail," the exhibition builds on the AKC's annual ASEAN Trade Fair series - held since 2014 - significantly expanded in scale and scope. Ten ASEAN Member States will participate in pairs on a rotating monthly basis: Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia in May; Cambodia and Malaysia in June; Lao PDR and the Philippines in July; Myanmar and Thailand in August; and Singapore and Viet Nam in September. Products on display span a diverse range of categories, including food and beverages, fashion and accessories, books, creative industries, and halal lifestyle products. Meanwhile, a special promotional event spotlighting Timor-Leste, which acceded to ASEAN as its 11th Member State in October last year, is also planned during the exhibition period.
Beyond product showcasing, the AKC operates the exhibition as a practical B2B networking platform, fostering meaningful partnerships between ASEAN companies, Korean buyers, and relevant institutions. Each month, participating companies are invited to Korea to take part in tailored programs supporting their entry into the Korean market - including business seminars, one-on-one buyer consultations, and visits to Korean industrial sites and relevant organizations.
In collaboration with the ASEAN-Korea Financial Cooperation Center in Jakarta, the exhibition also features financial advisory sessions addressing key challenges for foreign companies entering the Korean market - including payment and remittance, corporate establishment, investment attraction, and distribution and business expansion. Tailored one-on-one consultations will be available from experts at Shinhan Bank, Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC), BlissVine Ventures, and local tax firms.
Throughout the exhibition period, a variety of online and offline events will be held to encourage public participation. The "ASEAN Panorama Completion Event" rewards frequent visitors with progressively higher chances of winning, with the grand prize of an ASEAN travel voucher worth KRW 1 million. T'way Air is joining as a partner, offering discount coupons for major Southeast Asian routes from opening day until supplies last. On May 7, an open market also runs alongside the opening ceremony, giving visitors a chance to purchase ASEAN products on the spot.
For the full list of participating companies and schedules, visit the ASEAN Panorama's official website (2026 ASEAN Panorama). The exhibition is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturdays.
