Anderson, Policy Committee to Highlight How Local Organizations Help Families Cope with Rising Costs

WHAT: House Republican Policy Committee Chairman David H. Rowe (R-Snyder/Union/Mifflin/Juniata), Rep. Marc Anderson (R-York), and other lawmakers will host a hearing titled "Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Examining the Ways Local Organizations are Helping their Communities Deal with Rising Costs" to highlight the important work community organizations are doing to help families meet their basic needs amid rising costs.
WHO: Testifiers will include Eric Saunders, executive director, New Hope Ministries; Thad Sales, pastor, Calvary Methodist Church; Rodney Carberry, commander, Dillsburg Legion; Pastor Matthew Castillo, founder, Believers Earling Learning Center; Dean Van Zanardi, director, Veterans Lake Fishing; and Shirley Fortunato, member, Calvary Methodist Church.
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m.
