Helpline Highlight: Refrigerator and stove requirement

Question: My tenant is in the middle of a one-year fixed-term lease (it started Aug. 1, 2025). The refrigerator and stove were not included at move-in, so the tenant provided their own. Now the tenant is requesting the owner supply both under the new law. Do these appliances need to be provided now, or when the lease term expires?
