Neighborhood Action Day

Saturday, June 27, 2026
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Area of Artesia Blvd. to Franklin St. and Rostrata Ave. to Fullerton Ave.
Kick Off Location: Corner of Franklin St. & Rostrata Ave.

Join your neighbors in a community effort to beautify your neighborhood. Volunteers will work together on projects to improve curb appeal and enhance safety.

Volunteer Activities Include:
  • Planting trees and greenery
  • Painting fire hydrants & red curbs
  • Picking up litter and debris
  • Refreshing curbside house numbers
Bulky Item Drop Off
Residents may also dispose of large unwanted household items at no cost during the event on the Corner of Franklin St. and Burnham Ave.

Accepted Items:
  • Household Items & Furniture: Mattresses, rugs, couches, & other large items
  • Appliances & Metal Items: Refrigerators, washers, dryers, water heaters, & other large metal objects
General Trash, Green Waste, Medical Waste, Batteries, and Hazardous Waste will NOT be accepted.
