MoDOT to close Lake St. Louis bridge at Civic Center Drive June 16-18, June 23-25

ST. CHARLES COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Civic Center Drive at the Lake St. Louis bridge from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 16-18 and on June 23-25 . All work is weather permitting.

Motorists can use Interstate 64 between Prospect Road and Lake St. Louis Boulevard as a detour around the closure.

Crews will be obtaining rock core samples for a future bridge replacement currently scheduled to begin in 2028. Numerous samples will be needed across the width of the existing bridge driving surface. A full closure of Civic Center Drive and the Lake St. Louis bridge is necessary for the safety of the workers and to expedite the coring process.
