TRAFFIC ALERT - Kent County - Closure of South Street and West Street Intersection -West Camden Bypass
Closure of South Street and West Street Intersection -West Camden Bypass
Camden- The Delaware Department of Transportation announces the closure of the intersection at South Street and West Street starting on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, to Friday, February 27, 2026. This work is necessary as part of the West Camden Bypass project to relocate utilities and install stormwater drainage.
Detour is as follows:
Motorists on the east side of the closure who wish to travel west should drive east on South Street and make a left onto S. Main Street. Proceed on S Main Street to Camden Wyoming Avenue and make a left.
Motorists on the west side of the closure who wish to travel east should drive west on South Street and make a right onto S Caesar Rodney Ave. Proceed on S Caesar Rodney Ave to Camden Wyoming Avenue and make a right.
Motorists are reminded to slow down in work zones and to expect minor delays while traveling in the area.
