Entergy’s Louisiana utilities monitoring potential tropical weather

NEW ORLEANS - Entergy Louisiana and Entergy New Orleans are closely monitoring the developing tropical system as it moves through the Gulf early this week. Current forecasts indicate the disturbance will bring heavy rain and periods of gusty wind to parts of southwest Louisiana, with rainfall being the primary impact at this time.

Crews statewide are prepared and ready to respond should severe weather affect electric service and will do so safely and efficiently when conditions allow.

The companies encourage customers to take the time now to get personal storm plans in place and make a kit with the basic emergency supplies, including any medical needs that require electricity.
