Two people have been arrested following an injury shooting in the Centennial Neighborhood.

On Friday, August 22, 2025, at approximately 2:45 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to a shooting near Southeast 148th Avenue and Southeast Stark Street. When they arrived, officers canvassed the area and located an adult male victim with serious injuries. After officers administered critical lifesaving care, the victim was transported to an area hospital. Although the suspect had fled the scene of the shooting, through the course of the initial investigation, officers identified a suspect and suspect vehicle.

On Sunday, August 24, 2025, the suspect vehicle was located in a parking lot in the 16000 block of East Burnside Street. Officers scoured the area and located the suspect and an associate in the area of Southeast 139th Avenue and Southeast Stark Street. The two were taken into custody without incident, and a firearm was recovered. The two men were transported to the Multnomah County Detention Center (MCDC) and lodged on numerous charges.

Jeroshea M. Wilson, 27, charged with Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Reckless Endangering.

Sir James A. Williams, 37, charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
