Statista Aims to Become an Agentic Enterprise with Salesforce’s Agentforce

Global statistics and market data company Statista today announced it will expand its work with Salesforce, integrating AI agent platform Agentforce into its sales and service operations. With this move, Statista aims to build on its existing AI strategy to become an Agentic Enterprise, where every employee is augmented, every decision is guided by trusted data, and every customer experience feels like one continuous conversation.

Statista, founded in Germany in 2007, is a leading data-as-a-service (DaaS) company that provides access to over 1.5 million statistics and reports. As a data-centric organization, the company has long embraced AI, offering its own generative AI products and APIs. Now, by automating repetitive tasks and enabling deeper personalization in sales and service, Agentforce will allow Statista employees to focus on more complex, high-value work.

  • Agentforce will automate the classification of email, chat, and form inquiries, reducing first-level support processing times by up to 40%. It will also provide context-based response suggestions for more complex issues, accelerating ticket resolution by up to 50%. This is expected to reduce the overall workload for the support team by up to 30%.
  • In its Lead Factory, Statista will use AI-supported trigger analyses to automate outreach to specific accounts and reactivate inactive leads, with projected success rates of 10% to 20%. Salesforce AI technology will also generate personalized text suggestions to boost response rates.

"AI isn't just a tool for efficiency; it's a core component of our long-term strategy to make data even more effective and accessible," said Henning Helbig, SVP of Global Revenue Operations at Statista. "The use of Agentforce is an important step in our journey to position Statista as the leading DaaS company for statistics and market data worldwide."

By adding Agentforce to its existing Salesforce solutions - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and MuleSoft‌ - ‌Statista is integrating apps, data, metadata, and agents on a deeply unified platform, setting the stage to become an agentic enterprise.

"In the agentic enterprise, companies can operate with infinite capacity, precision, and speed by pairing human expertise with AI-powered agents," said Frank Engelhardt, Chief Transformation Strategist at Salesforce Central Europe. "Statista is a prime example of how companies can actively begin this transformation, automating existing processes while creating entirely new capabilities, revenue streams, and ways of working."
