Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming Attends the Handover Ceremony for the Fourth Batch of China-Aid Emergency Relief Supplies to Nepal Arrives in Kathmandu

On the afternoon of September 8, 2026, the fourth batch of China-aid emergency relief supplies arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, aboard a Y-20A large transport aircraft of the PLA Air Force of China. 

H. E. Mr. Zhang Maoming, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, and Honourable Mr. Mahabir Pun, Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation of Nepal, attended the handover ceremony for the relief supplies.

This newest batch of relief supplies mainly includes rescue hovercrafts, stainless steel permanent magnet flood pumps, spare batteries, mortuary freezers, and solar powered lights. All items are tailored to Nepal's most urgent needs, and will provide strong support for emergency rescue operations and subsequent work in the disaster affected areas.
