The combination brings together two established businesses with a proven ability to market, manufacture, and source highly effective consumer staples for the home and body at prices consumers can afford.
LPNA Group now markets a diversified portfolio of trusted owned and licensed brands across personal care and household products, including Yardley London®, Wizard®, Handi-Wrap®, Finesse®, Aqua Net®, Ashley Belle®, Lypsyl®, Scrub Free®, and Xtra®.
The two companies already know each other well. AMG and Lornamead have worked together for several years under a licensing agreement for Yardley London and other key brands. LPNA Group will be led by Emily Fong Mitchell (CEO), who will help both businesses capitalize on each other's capabilities and relationships to win with current customers and expand into new channels, especially e-commerce.
The merger represents Sojourner's third investment since the firm was founded in 2023 and further demonstrates the firm's ability to leverage its significant experience building and improving companies to win partnerships with business owners seeking a value-added partner. LPNA Group is well positioned for continued growth across the omnichannel landscape given these new capabilities and its broader portfolio, strong retail relationships, and greater scale in manufacturing and sourcing.
McDermott Will & Schulte LLP served as legal advisor to Sojourner and Lornamead. Capital One served as left lead arranger, left bookrunner, and administrative agent on the senior secured credit facilities financing the transaction.
