Taoiseach Micheál Martin will visit Davos on January 21st and 22nd to attend the World Economic Forum.
On arrival on 21 January, the Taoiseach will address the annual IDA Dinner at the World Economic Forum (WEF), where he will speak to senior business leaders.
On 22 January, the Taoiseach's main engagement will be at a WEF panel discussion titled: 'Europe is Treading Water - How Can it Make Waves?'. He will join political and business leaders to discuss how Europe can build a more prosperous future. This panel discussion will be live streamed on the WEF website.
He will also have a number of meetings with senior business and political leaders on the margins of the WEF.
Speaking ahead of his attendance at WEF the Taoiseach said: "I am looking forward to attending the World Economic Forum in Davos. It is an opportunity to meet with international leaders and business leaders to discuss how we can work together to best address geopolitical and economic challenges.
"As well as my appearance at a WEF public panel, I am also looking forward to meeting with business leaders with a presence in Ireland, many of whom are supported by IDA Ireland. IDA Ireland continues to perform strongly, attracting inward investment to Ireland across a range of sectors and will have a strong presence at WEF this year."
