Expense Report Submission Changes for Student Travelers

Expense Report Submission Changes for Student Travelers

January 23, 2026

UA Concur Users:

We continually evaluate opportunities to streamline travel processes while strengthening student support. Based on stakeholder feedback, we are implementing an enhancement to our expense process: allowing delegates to submit expense reports on behalf of studentswhen appropriate.

Delegates are often closely involved in student travel and are well-positioned to document expenses accurately and efficiently. This change will reduce administrative delays, support timely reimbursement, and improve operational efficiency while maintaining appropriate oversight through existing approval workflows.

This flexibility is particularly important for students participating in group or international travel and for those in remote communities with limited access to technology. Students will still be able to submit their own expense reports; this option provides critical support where barriers exist.

By streamlining administrative processes and empowering delegates to better support students, this change strengthens our commitment to seamless experiences, student-centered support, and continuous improvement.
