Register for the Financial Counselors Roundtable
Financial counselors play an important role in helping members navigate financial challenges, but knowing where to turn for additional support can make that guidance even more valuable.
The upcoming Financial Counselors Roundtable on October 15, 2026, will bring together representatives from the Maryland Office of Financial Regulation and the District of Columbia Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB) for a conversation about resources available to members across Maryland Washington DC and Delaware.
Panelists will highlight public-sector programs, workforce development opportunities and community resources that financial counselors can use to help members find additional support. The discussion will focus on resources that can help members strengthen their financial stability, explore career opportunities and better understand consumer protections.
The roundtable will also provide an opportunity for credit unions to learn how they can build stronger connections with public-sector programs and deepen their engagement with the communities they serve.
