Ku-ring-gai will commemorate the bravery, mateship and legacy of the fallen ANZACs from Saturday 25 April
There are five services in Ku-ring-gai, beginning with the Dawn Service in Roseville and West Pymble, followed by morning services at Wahroonga, Turramurra and St Ives, and a Sunday Church Service in Gordon.
Ku-ring-gai has been involved in many conflicts over the past century, with around 1,300 men and women from Ku-ring-gai enlisted in World War 1 and many more in the conflicts that followed.
Mayor Christine Kay said ANZAC Day allows us to reflect and commemorate those who have afforded us the freedoms we have today.
"I invite our community to come together to honour the servicemen and women whose courageous service and sacrifice have helped shape our nation," Mayor Kay said.
Residents unable to attend a dawn service can visit Ku-ring-gai's 'Places of Pride' to pay their respects. The full list of locations can be found here https://krg.nsw.gov.au/anzacday
