Director-General of the International Organizations Department meets with Ambassador to Counter Modern Slavery, People Smuggling and Human Trafficking of Australia

On 17 December 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with Ms. Jane Duke, Ambassador to Counter Modern Slavery, People Smuggling and Human Trafficking, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia, on the margins of the International Conference on the Global Partnership against Online Scams, which was co-hosted by Thailand and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Bangkok.

Both sides discussed cooperation between Thailand and Australia on anti-online scams, especially under the Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime. They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest under multilateral frameworks, such as the promotion of humanitarian principles under various initiatives.
