AdventHealth Manchester partnered with more than 60 volunteers from Highlands Mission Group for a three-day mission project focused on making a meaningful difference for families in the Manchester community.
Working side by side, the volunteers built four accessibility ramps for four local families, helping provide safer and easier access to their homes.
The projects required teamwork, hard work and a shared commitment to serving others.
For the families receiving the ramps, the impact goes far beyond the construction itself.
Improved accessibility can make everyday activities easier and help individuals enter and leave their homes with greater safety and independence.
The mission project also demonstrated the power of community partnership.
Over the course of three days, volunteers gave their time, skills and energy to complete all four ramps and support neighbors in need.
Their dedication turned a few days of work into improvements that will continue to make a difference for these families well into the future.
Through partnerships like this, AdventHealth Manchester can continue to strengthen communities, remove barriers and extend care beyond the walls of its facilities.
