LinkedIn today introduced the launch of AI-powered people search, a new way to make finding the right person easier than ever. Now, to find people on LinkedIn you can now simply type what you're looking for in plain language. Want to find "someone who's grown a small business" or "an expert in digital marketing"? Just ask, and LinkedIn will surface the most relevant people.

Previously, finding the right professional had been challenging because search, to-date, has been literal. When searching for that "someone," you would need hyper-specific information like company name, job title or a credential. Without this information, search results would fail.

Now, instead of static results, LinkedIn surfaces people with the right expertise, at the right time, turning connections into actionable opportunities.
