Throughout this Congress, Chair Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa's 99 counties.

RED OAK, Iowa - U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Chair of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. of Winneshiek County. Throughout the 119th Congress, Chair Ernst plans to recognize a small business in each of Iowa's 99 counties.

"Since 2009, Clark and Barbara have brewed up an internationally recognized establishment known for its award-winning craft beer," said Chair Ernst. "Through their commitment to quality, innovation, and community, they have tapped into what makes a successful business."

Founded with the goal of creating unique, high-quality craft beer in northeast Iowa, Clark and Barbara Lewey grew Toppling Goliath Brewery from a small microbrewery into an internationally-recognized brand. With the help of over 150 employees, the business serves the Decorah community as a family-owned operation, offering a taproom with more than 40 beer options.

Stay tuned as Chair Ernst continues to recognize outstanding Iowa small businesses with her Small Business of the Week award.
