MONO COUNTY, Calif. (NOVEMBER 6, 2025) - The Mono County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is urging Mono County residents to take a few minutes to complete its Winter Readiness Survey. The confidential survey is a crucial tool designed to improve community safety, enhance the department's emergency response effectiveness, and ensure residents are prepared for the potentially severe conditions of a Mono County winter.
"Winter preparedness is a shared responsibility," said Chris Mokracek, Director, Office of Emergency Management. "By taking this quick survey, you're actively helping us tailor our resources, outreach, and response strategies to the unique needs of your community.
