Reception honoring the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Armenia and Glendale

The Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Los Angeles hosted a reception attended by representatives of the City of Glendale, the Glendale Police Department, and the Glendale Fire Department to mark the strong partnership and effective cooperation that have developed over the years with the City of Glendale.

The event was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan.

In her remarks, Consul General Anna Avetisyan highly commended the consistent efforts and leadership of the Glendale city authorities in advancing the city's development, ensuring public safety and promoting sustainable growth.

Consul General emphasized the close and continuous cooperation between Armenia and Glendale, placing particular importance on the sister-city partnerships between Kapan and Glendale and between Gyumri and Glendale.

Underscoring the significant role of the Armenian community in Glendale, the Consul General noted that it serves as an important bridge between Armenia and Glendale, contributing to the strengthening of bilateral economic and cultural ties. Consul General reaffirmed her commitment to further expanding the areas of cooperation and to implementing new joint initiatives.
