Secretary-General of ASEAN Delivers Remarks at the 59th ASEAN Day Dinner Reception in Brasília

As part of his Working Visit to Brazil, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 18 August 2026, delivered remarks at a Dinner Reception, in Brasilia, celebrating the 59th ASEAN Day in Brasília, hosted by Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Federative Republic of Brazil and Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Brasília (ACB), Andhika Chrisnayudhanto. Dr. Kao highlighted ASEAN's achievements and future priorities under ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future, reaffirmed the growing ASEAN-Brazil partnership, and underscored the important role of the ACB in promoting ASEAN's profile and visibility as well as in advancing ASEAN's outreach and engagement in Brazil.
