Various Closures On Interstate 5 - State Routes 99, 108, 120 & 132

Stanislaus County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 and State Routes 99 (SR-99), SR-108, SR-120 and SR-132 for maintenance and construction work within Stanislaus County. Work will occur as follows:

Interstate 5

  • Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
    Note: This project is expected to continue through the spring of 2026.

State Route 99

  • Full off-ramp closure from southbound SR-99 at Crows Landing Road for shoulder work on Monday, April 20, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on southbound SR-99 at SR-219/Broadway Avenue for electrical work beginning Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 108

  • Long-term sidewalk and right shoulder closure from Oakdale Road to Estelle Avenue for shoulder work through June 11, 2026.
  • Long-term right shoulder closure from 8th Street to Mesa Drive for excavation work through April 24, 2026.

State Route 120

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control from Lovers Leap to Kennedy Road for geotechnical work beginning Tuesday, April 21, through Friday, April 24, from 7:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.

State Route 132

  • Long-term right shoulder closure from G Street/9th Street to H Street/9th Street for curb/sidewalk work through May 29, 2026.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
