LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Oct. 27-31. All work is weather permitting.
JACKSON COUNT Y
43rd St. over U.S. Highway 71: bridge closed from Monday, Oct. 27 until Friday, Oct. 31, from approximately 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for bridge joint work.
Route F between U.S. Highway 50 and Colbern Rd.: flagging operations on Monday, Oct. 27 and Wednesday, Oct. 29, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day, for pavement repair.
U.S. Highway 40 eastbound at Interstate 470: right lane closed on Tuesday, Oct. 28, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for brush cutting.
Route F between Hudson Rd. and SW 25th St.: flagging operations on Thursday, Oct. 30, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

JOHNSON COUNTY
Missouri Highway 131 between Missouri Highway 2 and SE 700 Rd.: flagging operations from Monday, Oct. 27 until Tuesday, Oct. 28, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
Missouri Highway 58 between Holden and Cass Co. line: flagging operations from Wednesday, Oct. 29 until Thursday, Oct. 30, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
