UPDATE: Overnight Full Closure of El Cerro Boulevard On-Ramp To Southbound I-680 in Danville

Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, until 9 a.m. on Saturday Oct.10.

Contra Costa County - Caltrans has updated the scheduled closures for sound wall replacement on El Cerro Boulevard along southbound I-680 in the Town of Danville. The agency will fully close the El Cerro Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-680 and Lane 4 between the El Cerro Boulevard on- and off- ramps. Closure Information

  • Locations: Lane #4 on Southbound I-680 and El Cerro Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-680-Closed
  • Date: Friday, Oct.9 - Saturday, Oct. 10,
  • Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.,

Detour Information

During the overnight closure of the El Cerro Boulevard on ramp and Lane #4:

  • Motorists traveling to southbound I-680 should use alternate nearby on-ramps, including Stone Valley Road or Sycamore Valley Road, as appropriate.
  • Prepare to merge and slow for the cone zone.
