Port Clinton High School Drama Club Presents BIG FISH the Musical
Port Clinton High School Drama Club is excited to present BIG FISH, the musical on November 20, 21 and 22 at the PCHS Performing Arts Center. Advertising and Patron opportunities are available - forms due November 11
The Port Clinton High School Drama Club is presenting its student production of BIG FISH on Fri, Nov 20 and Sat, Nov 21 at 7:00 p.m. and Sun, Nov 22 at 3:00 p.m. at the PCHS Performing Arts Center. Tickets will be on sale in the PCHS Main Office or at the box office prior to each performance, $15 each for adults; $10 for students. New this year, the Drama Club will be presenting two musicals instead of a Fall play and Spring musical! Drama Club is looking for advertisers and patrons to help support the cost of the production. The musical, BIG FISH is based on the film directed by Tim Burton and according to TRW Productions, "The show is a fantastical, heartwarming musical that follows the life of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman whose larger-than-life stories captivate everyone around him-especially his loving wife, Sandra. But their son, Will, about to become a father himself, is determined to uncover the truth behind his father's epic tales. As Will embarks on a journey to understand the man behind the myth, BIG FISH explores the power of storytelling, family bonds, and the search for identity." The Tim Burton film was based upon the acclaimed novel, Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions by author, Daniel Wallace.
The talented student cast includes: Cooper Harpster as Edward Bloom; William Osborne as Will Bloom; Emma Rose Johnson as Sandra Bloom; Evelyn Gibson as Josephine Bloom; Paige Bowens as The Witch; Susannah Osborne as Amos Callaway; Tristan Minney as Karl the Giant; Gabriel Depner as Don Price; Miles Taylor as Zacky Price; Janelle Mitchell as Jenny Hill; and Featuring Juila Osborne as Young Will. The Ensemble includes: Adrienne Wheeler, April Osborne, Ashlyn Wierzba. Brooke-Lynn Lattimore, Cody Karshuk, Dakota Sumpter, Delana Toris, Kenleigh Mazur, Kennedi Wainwright, Nayellie Fritz, Neveah Meads, Penny Sandvick, Solana Randol, Sophia Hargrove, Spencer Beaver-Tyson, Vander Jadwisiak.
